DO NOT place this item in a City of Omaha curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.
Place balls of any kind (including plastic balls, inflatable balls, sports equipment, and toy balls) in the garbage if they cannot be reused or donated.
Ways to Reduce or Reuse
Consider donating gently-used balls to a local charity, community center, or thrift store.

Balls are NOT accepted in the general recycling because they cause problems at the recycling facility. Balls of all sizes and types are problematic for processing equipment, causing delays and other issues.
Balls are often made with varying kinds of plastics and other materials that cannot easily be separated or recycled using traditional methods. Balls of any kind should be reused, donated, or placed in the garbage.
