DO NOT place tires in curbside recycling carts, waste carts, or drop-off site containers. Tires are regulated waste and require special disposal in the City of Omaha.
Multiple times a year, the City of Omaha offers special, tire-collection events at no cost. The tire collection events are open to all City of Omaha households. Only residential tires will be accepted; tires from businesses are prohibited. Residents are responsible for unloading their own vehicles, and rims must be removed.

Important Notes: Tires are NOT accepted at River City Transfer Station or the Pheasant Point Landfill. Tires will NOT be accepted at the City of Omaha Spring & Fall Cleanup events.
