DO NOT place tires in curbside recycling carts, waste carts, or drop-off site containers. Tires are regulated waste and require special disposal in the City of Omaha.
Tires can be taken to River City Recycling & Transfer Station, 6404 South 60th Street (60th & Harrison Streets). There is a fee to process tires. Find more information at the link below:

Important Notes: Tires are NOT accepted at the Pheasant Point Landfill.
Beginning in 2026, tires will NOT be accepted at Omaha Spring & Fall Cleanup events. The City of Omaha offers special collection events for tires, and information can be found at Wasteline.org.
