Plastic Laundry Baskets

ACCEPTED: Most Brands EXCEPT Rubbermaid®
Place EMPTY and CLEAN plastic laundry baskets in a curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.
- Remove and discard any metal components (such as handles or decoration)
- Labels or stickers can stay on
- Keep items loose and DO NOT bag
NOT ACCEPTED: Rubbermaid® Brand Baskets
DO NOT place Rubbermaid® baskets or large tubs in a City of Omaha curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container. Place Rubbermaid® brand plastics in the garbage if they cannot be reused.
Note: Rubbermaid® brand products are made with an additive that cannot be recycled through traditional methods.
