Residential Acetylene Tanks are highly pressurized and require special handling.
The best option is to use up the material in the tank for its intended purpose. Contact the retailer or supplier you purchased it from to see if they offer a take-back or exchange program.

Did You Know
Acetylene tanks have specially pressurized valve, and if improperly handled, they have the potential to cause serious harm.
A large, pressurized tank should ALWAYS be taken to a special handling facility for safe discharge and disposal, regardless of whether it is empty or has residual contents inside.
